acacia heights gardens villa in taupo was even better than our last visit! the owners were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay special. the room was spacious and clean, and they even provided toys for our kids. the location was breathtaking, with stunning views of lake taupo. highly recommend this family-friendly gem.

The beautifully landscaped property is a jaw-dropping oasis tucked away in a quiet location, offering mind-blowing views of Acacia Bay and Taupo across the stunning Lake Taupo. The friendly hosts, Dave and Heather, checked us in with no problems and made us feel right at home. The comfortable bed, along with the excellent range of teas, coffee, and breakfast cereals, provided a super start to our day. The separate guest lounge area and lovely gardens added to the overall experience. The bathroom products were a special touch and everything was spotlessly clean. The large and beautiful gardens were a great place to relax, and the hot tub in the detached garden 'annexe' was a fantastic perk. The fantastic welcome and helpfulness of the hosts were beyond our expectations. We can't wait to return to this hidden gem!

The location of this hotel was perfect for me, as it was away from the busy town but still close enough to easily get to. the views of the lake and mountains were absolutely stunning and the grounds of the property were well-maintained and welcoming.

The room I stayed in was a bit small and I found it difficult to spend a lot of time in there. On one of the nights, the noise from other guests talking in adjacent areas made it difficult for me to sleep.
